Can a DVT be Dangerous?
A DVT is a blood clot. It is most usually found in the legs.
This can be an extremely serious condition because these blood clots in the legs can loosen and lodge themselves in a person’s lungs.
You may experience leg pains or swelling with a DVT, however often times, there may be no symptoms at all.
This is why it is very important to see a board certified vein and vascular surgeon as soon as possible.
