The Perfect Fall Smoothie for Vein Health
It’s the fall! Often times it’s a warm and cozy time of year for people. And in these warm and cozy times, a delicious fall smoothie can brighten up our day!
We thought sharing a recipe for an Apple Chia Smoothie would a great addition to your fall favorites. And guess what? It tastes almost like apple pie. It’s like you are have a treat, but it could help your vascular health as well.
Ingredients:
- 1 large apple, cut up (choose your favorite kind of apple)
- 1 cup of almond or oat milk
- 2-3 tbsp of chia seeds
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon, or to your liking
- pinch of sea salt
- pinch of nutmeg
Add all ingredients with ice if desired. Blend until smooth. Pour and enjoy! Your circulation system will thank you!
