Fall Is Here in Arizona – Time to Get Active!
Now that fall weather is finally arriving in Arizona, you can now feel more comfortable getting up and being active again, without 100 degree weather stopping you!
Cooler weather allows us to do all those outdoor activities us Arizonians tend to miss over the summer!
Here’s a few ideas to get that blood circulating again, for better health!
- Take daily walks, especially in the morning – the morning is always cooler, and a morning walk can really wake up that body!
- Biking – own a bike? The cooler weather makes it much easier to get a good ride in on one of Arizona’s bike paths
- Golfing – Or any sport! If you love sports, this weather is for you! Get out there and start up your golf game or take a few swings at softball!
- Apple picking, pumpkin picking or you-pick farms – Arizona has a lot to offer here. Take a day and go pick some apples or even your own veggies at one of it’s many farms.
- Hiking – Remember all those hikes you wanted to do, but it was too darn hot! Now’s a great time to go, but BRING WATER, we still live in the desert, and even though it’s cooler, your body still needs hydration!
There’s tons more ideas to get out there and get your body back into shape. We just want to encourage you to start now so you can make a healthy habit of getting out there and staying active!
